Deep Sleep Instructions (Song)

As extensions of Yahweh, ambassadors of Christ,

We walk in the Spirit, guided by His light.

In a world full of chaos, where clarity’s hard to find,

The Holy Spirit speaks with a whisper to the mind.

He knows our weaknesses; He sees our every need,

In today’s world of complexities, He takes the lead.

In deep sleep, He speaks, when the night is still,

Giving us dreams, revealing His will.

When slumber falls, and we’re lying in our bed,

He opens our ears, with words gently said.

Seals us with instructions, so pure, so true,

In deep sleep, He guides and shows us what to do.

Sometimes on a bus, train, or in a parked car,

What seems like a nap takes us so far.

The Spirit puts us under in a deep, deep rest,

Opening our hearts, giving us His best.

We may not comprehend with our waking mind,

But our soul and Spirit know they’re not confined.

In deep sleep, He speaks, when the night is still,

Giving us dreams, revealing His will.

When slumber falls, and we’re lying in our bed,

He opens our ears, with words gently said.

Seals us with instructions, so pure, so true,

In deep sleep, He guides and shows us what to do.

In the silence of the night, in the quiet of the soul,

He’s guiding our steps, making us whole.

We may not remember, but our Spirit knows,

The path we should walk, the way it goes.

In deep sleep, He speaks, when the night is still,

Giving us dreams, revealing His will.

When slumber falls, and we’re lying in our bed,

He opens our ears, with words gently said.

Seals us with instructions, so pure, so true,

In a deep sleep, He guides and shows us what to do.

So rest in His presence, let go, and be free,

For in deep sleep, He’s speaking to you and me.

We are led by His Spirit in every breath we take,

In the quiet of the night, our souls He’ll awake.
