A lot of situations in our life are blessings in disguises. However, before we can realize the blessings in most cases, we must keep believing.
For things to work out for good, we have to search for the silver lining in any situation, and always maintain a spirit of faith.
For God to take us higher and makes us stronger in Him, He will create a challenging situation that we must overcome. It’s this situation that grows our spiritual muscle.
Most of the revelation that people received from God came from situations they encountered. When God also wants to show us His faithfulness, Every now and then our faith will be tested to the core.
Going through the Bible, we see the great men and women of God put in situations that they had to put everything on the line, from Abraham, Moses, David, Esther, Daniel in the lion’s den and the three Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and the list goes on.
In these last days, the real test is would we bow down to another god, Daniel, and the three Hebrew knew the consequence of not bowing down to the Kingdom of darkness, and they showed themselves faithful to God, they put their LIFE on the line.
So we see God showing Himself Faithful to us, but He wants to see us show our faithfulness to Him even if our life depended on it.
Jesus put it this way in Matthew 10:28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Apostle Paul had to undergo a lot of painful circumstances, and his life was put on the line many times, all these great men and women of God had seen heaven with the eye of their spirit, and they had no fear of man.
God wants us to be fearless when we are fearless; we wouldn’t bow down to any other name under Heaven, but the name of Jesus.
Many people are already strong, and God has to orchestrate situations – divine set up’s to show us how strong we are in Him, what we are made of, and the realness of the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us.
Another view to this is, we are given new revelations, (when we come out of Lion’s den and the fiery furnace,) such as, how real our angels are to us. (We all have angels, and the Bible calls them ministering spirits. )
It’s fair to say that there is a price to pay for revelation and insights into the mysterious spiritual things.
I also believe when we pray Jeremiah 33.3 – (call upon me and I would reveal deep and secret things you are not aware of), we should be ready, for some challenging situations- obviously not in all cases but most cases.
One of the reasons for this is, we learn most by our experience, the lessons we learn in such situation, we can hold on to for the rest of our life, and be a blessing to others from the revelation we received from the situation.
Let’s take King David for example.
So God wanted King Saul’s replacement, and He found a person after His heart, Prophet Samuel anointed David. Now as we know God can do anything He wants.
However, He enabled David to undergo spiritual training under painful conditions for many years.
From David’s training came some great Psalms that has and will always be a blessing to us in our time and space reality. These great Psalms are powerful they train our hands for war and our fingers for battle, not natural but Spiritual warfare and battles.
Some battles are God’s and some He wants us to co-labour in the Spiritual warfare.
Until Next time, keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving
Peace. Daniel
